What's the best way to track expiration dates in PSTrax?

There are several different options for logging expiration dates on your medications / EMS supplies in PSTrax. Take a look at the video and/or read more about the configuration options below.

Configuration Option #1: Set an alert for any medication set to expire within a specific time frame.

  1. Click the check mark for each medication that will not expire within X days.
  2. Click the alert icon next to the medication set to expire within X days.
  3. In the notes field, enter the number of medication set to expire and enter the expiration dates.
  4. Click Log All Checked Items
  5. You can opt to send alerts for each medication or combine items in a single alert. We recommend combining items into one single alert in this case. Recipients of the alert will receive an email and/or text message depending on how the recipient configured their alert notification in the user setting.
  6. Click Log Tasks and then set the alert.
